A coroner has called for better labelling on a form of rat poison after hearing how a young farmer "desperate" to get back with his ex- girlfriend died after taking some.
Ryan Davis, 23, from East Huntspill, Somerset, swallowed Phostoxin, which is only issued under licence, on December 22 last year but then appeared to have second thoughts. An inquest into his death at Flax Bourton Coroner's Court, near Bristol, heard when an ambulance arrived Mr Davis handed the canister to a paramedic, but the label was missing.See the full content of this document
