Last year I wrote about seeing two or three hares here at home, not having seen a hare here for many, many years.
Last week, doing the same job (cutting thistles and grass that has gone to seed) I was starting to get worried. If they were still about, I thought they would have shown themselves by now. Just as I was trimming the last piece, two half-grown leverets burst from some nettles. There were no adults to be seen but obviously they are still about.See the full content of this document
