I'm fast coming to the conclusion that popular Sunday night drama is a bit too lame for my tastes. A couple of weeks ago it was the yawn-inducing period antics of Lark Rise to Candleford on the BBC which underwhelmed; last night its mediocrity was easily exceeded by the "family" drama Wild At Heart - now in its sixth series on ITV.
Now, you would think that with the stunning African scenery and a seemingly endless troupe of spectacular wild animal co-stars - from elephants to leopards - that the human cast could rustle up some more convincing performances.See the full content of this document
