Woman Rescued After Walking Into the Sea

Summary


Lifeboat crews raced to the rescue when a young woman was said to be walking into the sea near Weston-super-Mare's Grand Pier at 2am.

Weston's Atlantic 75 class lifeboat Coventry and Warwickshire spotted the woman in the mud at the water's edge and guided the D Class lifeboat Anna Stock to her. Two crew members helped the distressed woman, aged around 19, into the boat.
