Three ambulance service response teams and firefighters worked together to treat and free a woman trapped in a car following a road crash in Bristol.
The 28-year-old suffered hip and spine injuries when a Peugeot 306 and a Ford Transit were in collision in Whitehouse Road, Bedminster on Friday evening. Great Western Ambulance Service sent a paramedic in a rapid-response vehicle, an ambulance and the critical care team - also in a rapid-response vehicle. The woman was given intravenous painkillers, tranquillisers and sedatives, before being removed from the car with the help of the fire crews and the being taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary.See the full content of this document
