Summary
Birds that spend their winters at an internationally important wildlife site in Somerset will benefit from new improvements to their habitat. Bewick's swan, lapwing, snipe and dunlin are all regular visitors to the Catcott, Edington and Chilton Moors Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) near Glastonbury.
The 1,083 hectare site needed extensive work along an eight mile stretch of waterway built in the early 19th century called the South Drain.See the full content of this document
