I Read with mounting incredulity, which eventually bubbled over into seething anger, the story of Glenda and Robert Cole, the Bristol couple who have been forced to give a home to 19-year-old convicted thug, Shane Sims - merely because he gave their address to the court when he was slapped with a tagging order "I'm staying here and there's nothing you can do about it" (Western Daily Press, December 19).
The Coles are now having to put up with an anti-social thug who has literally taken over their home - and the police say that they are powerless to do anything about it and the court will do nothing unless the police or the probation service make it aware of the problem.See the full content of this document
