Summary
Since my first article introducing Western Pride, he has been rested for three weeks due to an illness. I became aware that "Wes" was lacking energy, though he was looking well in every other way. A blood test revealed a viral infection, requiring medication and rest.
During this time, Wes became so used to his periods of grazing that he obviously saw it as his right and became most upset when he saw other horses going out into the paddocks before him.
