Vulnerable people in Dorset risk being denied emergency free legal advice under proposed changes to legal aid, lawyers have said.
The Legal Services Commission is reducing the number of firms able to offer social, welfare and family legal aid from about 2,400 to 1,300. Family lawyer association Resolution said its survey of more than 530 family law firms found 90 per cent believed the Government's review of legal aid will lead to cuts and damage access to justice.See the full content of this document
