Headteacher vacancies are left unfilled at more than a quarter of all primary and special schools, according to latest figures.
Openings at nearly a fifth of senior schools were also not taken up after being advertised, an Education Data Surveys (EDS) report found. About 3,000 head teachers jobs were advertised across all categories last year, researchers revealed yesterday.See the full content of this document
