Summary


1989: Wins British Karting Super Prix at the age of nine.

1997: Wins the Ayrton Senna Karting Memorial Cup and also becomes the youngest-ever winner of the European Super A championship. 1998: First place in the British Formula Ford championship and second in the European Formula Ford championship. 2000: Makes Formula One debut with Williams. Scores 12 points to finish eighth in the standings. 2004: Arguably the F1 man of the year, beaten only by the Ferrari drivers in the standings. Takes his and BAR's maiden pole at Imola. Scores in every race he finishes, with ten podium placings.
