The autumn collapse in lamb prices could be the evidence of more price-rigging of the kind which has plagued the dairy sector, Welsh farmers are warning.

Last week supermarkets and dairies, including Sainsburys and Dairy Crest, agreed to pay fines totalling pounds116 million following Office of Fair Trading investigations into price-fixing on milk products in 2002 and 2003.
