Is this the same David Cameron telling West readers that he wants a tough stand on crime and the causes of crime (Western Daily Press, August 29) who only last year voted against proposed new anti- terrorist laws following the July 7 London bombings? At the time, he argued that longer detention laws to deal with suspected terrorists were unnecessary, even though the proposals were backed by senior police officers who told the Government they need more time to collect complicated electronic evidence on suspects in this new worldwide threat of terrorism to the UK public.See the full content of this document
