Thank you all the council waste disposal workers, I think you do a grand job.
It is not always pleasant but you do it well and cheerfully. I am tired of seeing and hearing in the media complaints about rubbish collection. Instead of asking why rubbish was not collected every week, why not ask yourself: "Why do I produce so much waste from my household? How much landfill space is needed for my lifetime's rubbish? Why can't I think a bit more unselfishly, and produce less waste?" I get really upset when I find that people expect to throw organic matter such as surplus food and peelings into the bin.
