Racegoers at today's Derby are being warned about paying to become members of bogus tipster clubs in a campaign by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).

To fight back against the scammers, the OFT ScamBusters, together with the South East Trading Standards ScamBusters Team, is handing out a fake racing tipster scam mailing to racegoers attending today's Festival meeting at Epsom Downs in Surrey.
