Leeds .........10 Gloucester..26 Gloucester were the better of two poor sides at Headingley in a bottom-of-the-table Guinness Premiership clash, but had to score three second-half tries to see off Leeds.

The quality of rugby on show was second rate for huge swathes of an afternoon which should have been conducive to running the ball. Instead the barely half-full stadium was treated to an error-strewn affair, particularly from Gloucester, who dropped far more ball than they actually did anything with in the first half.
