Summary
As a motorist who drives many miles per year on motorways, I would like to say these new cameras ("Super speed cameras to patrol West's roads", WDP, November 3) are overdue, but sadly they do not cover one of the biggest faults seen on the roads today.
It is the failure of most drivers that they fail to indicate their intentions. I think most think the orange lights are for decoration. Roundabouts and road junctions are classic problems - drivers sit there not knowing what someone at another junction is doing. I believe that to back the cameras we need a dedicated highway patrol that could be self-financing through monies raised from bad drivers.See the full content of this document
