Thank you for the article regarding Anne the circus elephant. This has been a long and sad issue, one which your paper has followed for years. It said much for Anne, who has not had the company of a fellow creature and has been treated cruelly, she remains sane. Now must be the end of 'animal' circus, they deserve much more.
