Summary
The banking and retail system, and the Houses of Parliament, are becoming a joke and costing the nation dearly. Radical reforms to marketing British produce to ensure continuity of supply and fair prices for producers and consumers was not a feature of the three main political parties at their conferences this season. Agriculture was almost totally ignored although it is an industry vital to all of us.
