Summary
Like thousands of other people, I was touched by the passing of Harry Patch, the last remaining veteran of World War One or the Great War as they called it at the time.
I've written a few novels set against the background of World War II and its immediate aftermath. It's not the dates and the reasons why those wars started that moves me to write these works of fiction.
