Summary
Stagecoach said the severe weather which crippled parts of the UK transport network in December had failed to derail its performance. While revenues were adversely affected by the frozen conditions, Stagecoach said profitability in the first 40 weeks of the financial year remained good.
At its UK bus division, which operates in Gloucestershire, like- for-like revenues rose 1.9 per cent in the period to February 6, compared with 2.3 per cent growth reported in December. UK rail, which runs South West Trains and East Midlands Trains, saw revenues growth of 6.9 per cent in the 40 weeks, compared with 6.4 per cent previously.See the full content of this document
