The number of people visiting one of the West's most popular shopping areas has hit an all-time high, in a big boost to the region as it looks to drag itself out of the recession.
Counts of people passing through Bath city centre showed a daily average of 70,000 shoppers in December - twice as many as in May, when numbers hit a five-year low.See the full content of this document
