Summary
You may be right when you say - rather arrogantly - that "there is just no public will" to reverse the smoking ban. But there most certainly is a public will to amend it. I believe almost everyone accepts that, just as the non-smoking majority should have their preferences respected, so the third of the nation that still smokes should be allowed separate smoking rooms and private smoking clubs.
