Summary
Regular readers will recall that in 2007 the Western Daily Press commissioned artist Bill Leyshon to paint a larger than life-size portrait of Harry Patch as our tribute to the World War I hero.
The original currently hangs in the Bishop's Palace, Wells but Harry was keen that the painting should raise money for his two favourite charities, The Royal British Legion and the Royal National Lifeboat Institute.See the full content of this document
