The director of a security firm who was arrested on suspicion of fraud amid allegations that millions of pounds worth of bomb detectors sold to Iraq did not work has had his police bail extended.

Jim McCormick, 53, managing director of Somerset-based business ATSC, was arrested on suspicion of fraud by misrepresentation in January after a BBC investigation alleged that the ADE (Advanced Detection Equipment) 651 device, which had been exported to 20 countries, was ineffective.
