Helen Reid is quite wrong when she says the Anglican Church is "going to provide quaintly named gender havens for clergy and congregations who can't accept women priests" ("Bibles, bigots and bishops", Western Daily Press, May 5), as though it were all a foregone conclusion and that the people she labels bigots will go their own way in their own special dioceses.
