Work starts next week on improving a busy junction in Gloucester. The Pounds 50,000 project will go ahead at the crossing between Southgate Street, Llanthony Road and Spa Road, after fears were raised over pedestrian safety. Gloucestershire Highways will now remove the outdated traffic lights and install a mini-roundabout and new pedestrian crossing.
