New Zealand had its critics before the World Cup for both rugby and non-rugby reasons. Some said the country was too small to host the tournament and others that the All Blacks would not deliver.

But they proved both on and off the pitch that they had what it takes, with the country delivering a fantastic World Cup and the All Blacks rightly being crowned world champions again - at last.
