A Somerset teenager who suffered brain damage after a car crash in France has been told his insurance company will not pay for health care because the car was overloaded.

Dicken Richards, 18, from Shepton Mallet, has had part of his skull removed to allow his brain to expand after being critically injured in the crash in south west France on August 14.
