I'm convinced that the scale of the national and global economic crisis has been hugely over-exaggerated by the media.
If things really are as bad as people make out, how could MPs possibly justify taking off 12 days over February half-term, 18 days at Easter; 11 days at Whitsun and 12 weeks from July 21 to October 12? And please don't patronise us by telling us that they will work flat-out in their constituencies over these holidays - unless they count rigging their expense claims as working.See the full content of this document
