'Nuclear Plants Don't Just Appear by Magic'

The Government has been criticised for failing to make any concrete plans for the construction of nuclear power plants at sites such as Hinkley Point and has been accused of assuming they will "magically appear".

A report by the Economic Research Council says it remains unclear how the reactors will be built and who will be responsible for building them after Gordon Brown announced he is keen for Britain to begin a new age of atomic power.
