A pilot had a close shave when his hot air balloon narrowly missed hitting the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
The balloon piloted by Craig Thompson, 30, came within a few feet of the iconic bridge when he took a few friends for a flight from Ashton Court Estate early yesterday morning. Newly-licensed pilot Mr Thompson, who lives in Bristol, discovered the wind had died down as he travelled across the Avon Gorge.See the full content of this document
