Sedgemoor District Council is planning to build a state-of-the- art new swimming pool and gym facility, which is to be a main pool with learner pool that Bridgwater will be proud of, as we were with Splash.

Now the Splash site is vacant, what better place could there be to site the new great town pool? The Northgate site has all utilities on hand to be used with a new build. It was first mentioned by Hepher Dixon and was voted a winner in the consultation process; the problem being at the time that the Splash was in situ and the rest of the site, although ideal for a new pool, was needed for a developer to take over.
