Library Buyer Stays Under Wraps in Sale

Summary


Portishead's old library building has been sold - but who the new owner is remains a mystery.

The library, in the High Street, sold at auction this week for Pounds 185,000 - Pounds 65,000 over the guide price. The property was being marketed by Bristol-based property agents, Maggs and Allen, who said there was a lot of interest in the building and a number of bids put forward.
