About four years ago Professor Dawkins was scheduled to have a public debate on creationism and evolution with Jim Lennox, a professor of maths. In the first 15 minutes Lennox completely pulled the rug from under Dawkins, after which Dawkins refused to debate the subject but spent the rest of his time attacking Christianity. Syd and Sue were in their late 20s when they moved into the village. Sue soon made a name for herself as a chain smoking drunk.
