Hurst's Other Shirt at Auction

Summary

Hat-trick hero Sir Geoff Hurst's spare shirt from England's 1966 World Cup triumph is expected to fetch up to Pounds 8,000 at auction.

The red long-sleeved jersey with the distinctive "three lions" logo is being sold by Bonhams in Chester as part of a sale of sporting memorabilia next month. Sir Geoff, only eight games into his international career, became the first player to score three goals in a World Cup final during the 4-2 win against West Germany.
