One of the West Country's most popular horse trials venues has cancelled its 2012 affiliated meetings after 21 years. Organisers of Stockland Lovell Horse Trials, which is located at Fiddington, near Bridgwater, Somerset, have made the tough decision not to run their British Eventing (BE) event in 2012 and beyond.
This cancellation comes as a result of losing a large proportion of acreage from the farm, where the competition is held, to the Environmental Agency. This unfortunately meant the farm owners lost the land used for the dressage, showjumping and parking areas during their horse trials.See the full content of this document
