Summary
On March 31, following a decision by South Somerset District Council, Yeovil Museum passed quietly away into history and without, it appears, so much as a public peep of protest from the mayor, town councillors, Yeovil representatives on the district council, Yeovil Vision and district chamber of trade or any other local organisation.
So, after over 80 years of quiet service to the heritage and history of Yeovil, there is no longer a museum freely available for you to walk into and see your past in the central area of the town, something which even World War Two failed to achieve!See the full content of this document
