Since winning his battle with cancer, Chris Geiger has been appointed an ambassador for Cancer Research. He is drawing on his experience to create awareness of the work that is carried out daily in our hospitals We've all experienced the unusual atmosphere only found in a doctor's waiting room.
It's funny how embarrassed people get, simply because they're waiting to see a doctor. Most instantly swing their heads in the opposite direction, anything to avoid eye contact. For some it's a day out, excited to tell the person next to them about their ailments or holiday plans.
