Summary
How low can our not-fit-for-purpose Ministry of Defence, Prime Minister and Government get? One day I read that Pounds 30 million of taxpayers' money has been spent on food, shelter and legal aid for 2,500 Afghan asylum seekers, most of whom entered our country illegally. Of these only 85 were genuine, meaning the other 2,415 bogus applicants received an average of Pounds 12,000 each. At the same time the average for our soldiers wounded in Afghanistan was just over Pounds 9,000.
The next day, Tuesday, August 4, I read in the Western Daily Press some of our armed forces families are having to rely on food parcels handed out by a charity in order to survive while their men are away fighting.See the full content of this document
