Summary


Having guided his Yeovil Town team to what - at Christmas, at least - had appeared an extremely unlikely 14th-place finish, Terry Skiverton could have been forgiven for expecting a slightly more relaxed summer this year.

The 35-year-old looked as if he had built a team more than capable of holding its own in the 2011-12 season - Yeovil's seventh successive campaign in League One - albeit with the scope for a couple more permanent and a few smart loan signings. Instead, the Yeovil manager is facing an unprecedented rebuilding job. Last season's top scorer, Dean Bowditch, has opted to move on. So too has the leading goal-provider, Andy Welsh. So have Nathan Smith, the first-choice leftback, and centre-back Adam Virgo. End-of-season loanee Andrew Tutte has announced he is not returning to Huish Park, while several other players are still mulling over contract offers.
