Libyan government forces battered the rebel-held city of Misrata with artillery yesterday despite Muammar Gaddafi earlier accepting a ceasefire deal.
After getting apparent agreement with the dictator, an African Union delegation took its proposal to the rebels' eastern stronghold and was met with protests by crowds opposed to any peace until Gaddafi gives up power.See the full content of this document
