A celebrated Somerset farmer and cider maker has passed away at the age of 83.
Bertram Bond, widely known in North Barrow and Castle Cary as Bertie, was an immensely respected character in South Somerset. He was born in Dimmer in 1927 and at first was a sickly baby until his mother, against all advice, mixed up a little porridge and from then on he thrived.See the full content of this document
