Garden bird feeders are attracting almost 50 per cent more species than in the 1970s, research by the British Trust for Ornithology said today.
Results from the trust's garden bird feeding survey, which started in the winter of 1970/1971, reveal that the number of different birds visiting the average feeding station has risen from 16 in the 1970s to 23 last winter.See the full content of this document
