A friend of mine gave me a new recipe idea the other day. I should have known better really. He is one of these people who makes everything sound deceptively easy, using words like "bung" and "chuck" and "pop". Really they don't sit well with my cooking style, because I'm methodical and I have to concentrate. He was telling me the secret of a Thai-style broth, which apparently was easy-peasy.
"Do you make chicken stock?" I nodded. "Bung some lemongrass in there with some chicken or pork, whatever you've got. Garlic, ginger, curry paste, veg - boil it up and add noodles. Perfect."See the full content of this document
