Almost all the West families forced to leave their homes because of last summer's devastating floods should be able to return within the next couple of months.

The Floods Recovery Minister John Healey made the pledge in an interview with the Western Daily Press on the anniversary of the terrible floods, after a visit to the region. The number of families still out of their homes fell by a quarter last month, while those living in caravans halved.
