Summary
Having worked within the aerospace industry from 1968 to 1991 and again in 1993 and 2008, it was nice to be invited to the Rolls- Royce families' day on Saturday, July 3. Since my apprenticeship days, engines have come on a long way, which is why I am writing this.
Having watched BBC 2's How to Build... A Jumbo Jet Engine, I saw the programme focused entirely on Derby and its local surroundings, with the occasional hint of a foreign supplier suggesting that all the skills are in Derby.See the full content of this document
