Despite being shut for months for rebuilding, Exeter's Northcott Theatre is starting a new season of shows outside in the community, beginning with an exciting new venture down on the farm - or to be more accurate, at the cattle market.
In conjunction with the community theatre group and youth theatre, Matford Livestock Market is the venue for 18 new short plays about agriculture. Working with the playwright Nick Discombe, the new writers have drawn from their own experiences of life on the land.
