Margaret Sandall was a legal executive, specialising in criminal and civil law The funeral of 84-year-old Margaret Sandall, who died suddenly after a special service of celebration to mark her diamond wedding, takes place on Friday at Rodden Church in Frome at 3pm.

Mrs Sandall, of Styles Hill, was the wife of Alan, the former editor of the Bath weekly series including our sister newspapers the Somerset Standard and Guardian. Both came from Reading and met as teenagers during the Second World War.
