A father who was trapped under his lorry when it blew over in strong winds told yesterday how he feared he would die. Terry Case, 42, a truck driver with Somerset firm Perry's Recycling, was driving along the A37 from Yeovil to Dorchester at around 9.30am last Tuesday when high winds blew his lorry off the road and onto its side near the A356 Dorchester Road junction.
He was thrown from the cab and his right arm became trapped. Mr Case said: "For about two or three seconds I was on two wheels, then another gust pushed the lorry over. "There was a big smash and that was it, I was trapped there. I just thought, 'this is it, I've had it'. There's nothing you can do except hold on and pray. It was the most frightening experience of my life."See the full content of this document
